Alivamax hCG Diet - Introduction
The hCG protocol, created by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons back in the 50's, is a multi-phase program designed to burn the abnormal fat from your body, reset your hypothalumus to keep you at a normal weight, and help you learn to eat correctly to maintain that weight for the rest of your life, so that you'll never have to diet again.
It is important to understand that this is NOT A DIET. It is a scientifically designed protocol that utilizes a combination of very specific foods at 500 calories per day and the use of hCG (either injected, taken sublingually or via homeopathic application) to CHANGE THE WAY YOUR BODY PROCESSES FOOD. Because of this, you should not look for food substitutions, nor look for ways to add 'calorie free' foods, as you might upset the nutritional balance that is designed in the protocol. Doing so may impair your weight loss, and/or possibly keep you from resetting. If followed, this protocol WORKS
Alivamax hCG Diet - Phase 1 - Loading Phase
The first two days (Day 1 & Day 2) constitute Phase 1, the Loading Phase of heavy high-calorie eating to build up your fat stores, during which the dieter must eat as much high-fat food as he/she can. By completely filling all fat stores, the metabolism is convinced that the body is not in a starvation mode. Remember, 10 drops of the Alivamax hCG Drops 3 times per day.
Alivamax hCG Diet - Phase 2 - VLCD + Drops
This Phase is the Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) + the Premium Alivamax hCG Diet Drops. The daily diet consisting of 500 calories per day of organic lean animal protein and low-carb vegetables and fruits plus the Alivamax hCG Diet Drops to "reprogram" the metabolism. The list of permitted foods is very restricted -- coffee, tea and water are the only beverages, and the two daily meals must consist of 100 g of protein, two cups of vegetables, one breadstick, and one cup of fruit. This Phase lasts for either 21 to 40 days.
Alivamax hCG Diet - Phase 3 - VLCD + No Drops
This Phase is the Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD). Drops are discontinued for 72 hours while staying on the Very Low Calorie Diet.
Alivamax hCG Diet - Phase 4 - Stabilize - NO Starch & Sugar
Phase 4 consists of a diet with NO starches and sugars for three weeks. During this Phase you will reset your hypothalamus. This is the most important Phase to keeping the weight off!
Alivamax hCG Diet - Phase 5 - Maintenance
Finally comes the maintenance phase, with a whole-foods diet of normal calorie intake along with exercise.
